Code of conduct

We expect all participants to have consideration for other people.
The use of illegal drugs during the Festival is specifically prohibited. The participation or attendance at the Festival of any Attendee found to be using illegal drugs will be immediately terminated.
Consumption of alcohol to excess resulting in poor behaviour will be considered a breach of this Code. Alcohol must not be provided by any Attendee to anyone under the age of 18.
The promotion of overtly political or offensive statements by means of banners, placards, clothing, badges or any other materials or is prohibited. Attendees are advised to make themselves aware of various pieces of legislation in the UK which specifically outlaw Incitement to Racial or Religious Hatred, including threatening, abusive, or insulting words, behaviour, or written material intended to stir up hatred.
If in our reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of any other person in authority, you or any member of your party behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any third party or damage to property, we are entitled, without prior notice, to act in any way so as to limit the breach of this code, as outlined in Clause 26 of the Terms and Conditions. Specifically Festival of Choirs Ltd reserves the right to immediately terminate the inclusion of the person(s) concerned. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to leave the accommodation or other service or activity. We will have no further responsibility toward such person(s) including any return travel arrangements. No refunds will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination. You and/or your party may also be required to pay for loss and/or damage caused by your actions and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and individually liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or losses must be paid directly to the College or other supplier prior to departure from the College. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
